Hi, I’m Alithia Gallegos, and I run ActiveBusinessLoans.com.

I’m an entrepreneur with over 25 years of business and marketing experience. I love strategy and streamlining things to get more done with less time and effort. I hate things that are complex, inefficient, or confusing. Which is what business financing can feel like. But it really doesn’t have to be that way.

So, I’m on a mission to help you make sense of it all so you can move forward with confidence and continue building something amazing. I mean, that’s what business is for…. To serve others, solve problems, and ultimately make the world a better place.

I’ve seen a few things since I began this entrepreneurial journey. I’ve started multiple businesses. Over the years, I’ve had to make some hard decisions and even close down businesses before my heart was ready to move on. I’ve also been blessed with receiving business funding at the right time and how that can make all the difference.

A little more about me…

My husband, Steve, and I live in Colorado near the mountains. We love being able to jump in our SUV and head to the mountains at a moment’s notice. Being outdoors is our happy place. We feel this area is full of “beauty and splendor”. As photographers it’s truly a joy to live where we do. We know how fortunate we are and we take full advantage of what we have.

Troy Brewer Ministries is leading the fight against human trafficking, working tirelessly to rescue children and young adults who have been victimized by this horrific crime. They provide vital services such as counseling, legal assistance, medical care, and provide food, clothing, shelter, and love to help survivors heal and rebuild their lives.

I support Troy Brewer Ministries in its work to end human trafficking. Together, we can create a world where children and young adults can live a life free from fear and violence.

Kiva

More than 1.7 billion people around the world are unbanked and cannot access the financial services they need. Kiva is an international nonprofit, founded in 2005, with a mission to expand financial access to help underserved communities thrive.

I am proud to support Kiva to crowdfund loans and unlock capital for the underserved, improving the quality and cost of financial services, and addressing the underlying barriers to financial access around the world. Through Kiva’s work, students can pay for tuition, women can start businesses, farmers are able to invest in equipment and families can afford needed emergency care.
